Digital Product Shelf
Background:
AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (AFSI), is a New York City-based multinational property and casualty insurance company, offering workers’ compensation, general liability, business owners policies, cyber liability, EPLI and more
Project Overview:
AmTrust’s Digital Product Shelf will serve as a comprehensive listing of resources and sales materials used to promote awareness and education related to our product offerings. It is a one-stop-shop for agents and salespeople to download brochures, sell sheets, and print and digital advertising to help promote their business.
Sales and Marketing are working together to provide valuable materials that will always be up-to-date across AmTrust’s entire digital landscape.
File Organization
Files can be organized in a number of ways including by material (example #1) or by product (example #2). Materials could be organized in other ways, like by class.
This file system will be maintained and updated by Marketing as directed by Sales. Updates will be as simple as ‘find and replace” in the folder directory and outside links will be updated automatically.
Research & Competitive Analysis
Prior to any design, I lead the competitive analysis on this project. This competitor search helped instruct us on how we should organize our materials and design the Product Shelf for ease of use. We not only assessed direct competitors but also other industries where sell sheets and collateral are shared with a similar sales organization like real estate, manufacturing, and auto parts
We strived to answer the following questions:
• What does the interface look like?
• Are the materials behind a log in?
• Are the materials public or behind a login?
• What is available to download? Logos, sell sheets, ads, etc
